Privacy Policy

Information you enter into our tools

The generators and calculators run entirely in your browser. Names, exclusions and amounts you type are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. If you create private Secret Santa links, each link contains the encoded result in the part after the # symbol; browsers do not send that part to a web server, but anyone you share a link with can see what is in it.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine this data with any account because the site has no accounts.

Cookies and local storage

We store one small value in your browser (local storage) to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. The holiday gift budget planner can optionally save your list in local storage on your device if you tick "Remember on this device"; it is off by default and can be cleared at any time with the Clear button. That data never leaves your device.. Our advertising partners may set their own cookies as described below.

Advertising: Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA or the Australian Privacy Act) you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Because we do not keep personal data from our tools, there is generally nothing for us to delete; for data held by Google, Cloudflare or retailers, contact them directly. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
